  • Bible story time that features hands-on activities to bring the Bible to life
  • Game time in the gym with age-appropriate group games and team building activities
  • Book time with their age group to practice their individual Bible verses, as they work through their Awana Handbook at their own pace.

Classes

Puggles® recognizes the learning ability of 2- and 3-year olds by introducing biblical precepts within your church’s children’s ministry and equipping parents to teach them at home. Toddlers love having their very own Awana club just like their older siblings.

In Puggles, children are welcomed each week with play time, songs and simple crafts and activities. Your children’s ministry leaders present age-appropriate lessons using large, colorful teaching cards, finger puppet plays and more. Lessons teach and reinforce four basic biblical precepts:

•God Made Everything  •God Saw That It Was Good  •God is Love  •Give Thanks

If your child is 3 to 5 years old (pre K), he/she will be able to participate in Cubbies.  In this class students learn from Cubbie the bear, Timmy, and Lovie Lamb.  Each week they will memorize an important Bible verse from the Gospel, hear a Bible story about that verse, and read fun short stories of how those Bible verses apply to life.

If your child is in kindergarten to second grade he/she will be able to participate in Sparks.  In this class students start memorizing the books of the Bible, learn about missionaries and important people in the Bible, learn about key character pillars, and memorize Bible verses. There are three different classes, one for each grade, with different books.

Children in grades 3 through 5 are the Truth & Training team (T&T). At AWANA, our goals are to help teach your child and walk alongside them as they grow in their faith, disciple them as they work through their workbooks, facilitate their learning of the scriptures, and to mentor and build relationships with them. It is our prayer that God would continue to use the AWANA ministry in a mighty way for His Kingdom.

We also have a class for middle school and high school students.  They worship in the Sunday evening assembly and then work with our youth leaders in growing in their faith.
