Comment: great blog
Comment: I listened to 6 of your sermons Sunday...enjoyed them all.
Comment: Your "disconnected" sounds a lot like being set apart, consecrated. You now have a very good perspective on that distinction. I pray more parents will not be afraid to disconnect their families even though it may be unpopular in this world for a season. In due season, the Father will reward them. I also have the following questions: 1)Will I be red-headed and freckle faced in heaven? 2) "bohonkus"? 3) ain't I? AIN'T I? Can you see the old red-headed teacher peeping up from her reading glasses - one eyebrow raised? Precious brother-in-Christ, I love you dearly! I pray you will continue to be strong and of great courage and not let the words of the law depart from your mouth!
Comment: Nice blog today....
Comment: Dear Talley Family, I was looking up some information for a project we are doing on our history for school. I googled Bethel baptist and found your web site. I loved looking at your site and showed it to my mom. Tell Kayla I said hello. Your Friend, Conner Tonya & David, What a great looking Family you have, My how the children have grown. I hope it was ok for Conner to write. He was exicted about finding you on the web. He even included your family in his report . He has had to back track highlights of his life for a project at school. He is quite jealous of the snow, every winter trip we take it seems that we miss the snow. Rhonda

Comment: My wife and I were married at Grace Baptist 30 years ago July 2. She was a teacher at Golden Shore Christian School and I was from Somerset Co. She's originally from NY State so her family was 400 miles away. The ladies of the church were her family here and took care of so many wedding details. We will always love Grace Baptist. It's always been my very favorite church on earth.

Comment: nice blog saturday....we are all guilty of either assuming the wrong thing or having the wrong thing assumed about us...
Comment: I always recieve encouragement from your blogs. I loved reading about John Waddle, your tribute to Bro. Gelatt, missing Tanya, and most recently your father. I often share excerpts with David. Although your "Pride" sermon is fresh in my mind, I am compelled still to use the phrase "I am proud of you." Your enthusiasm for God's Word comes through the screen! Your wisdom, insight and understanding obviously come from your time spent with Him. You also challenged my vocabulary today with a new term...sublapsarianism. I'll go look up that one!
Comment: We just had a meeting yesterday and we discussed the problems we have with new missionaries who don't seem to want to submit and be part of the body. They seem to have their own agendas and persue them no matter what. It was a good reminder that each one needs to be treated differently.
Comment: not only is happiness a choice...LOVE is a CHOICE!
Comment: Dave, I loved you article on "My Mission Field". Some churches are locating a good baptist hyspanic preacher (HARD TO FIND!) and starting an hyspanic church in their own building allowing them to worship there on Sunday afternoons and Thursday evenings. Some start an hyspanic ministry by teaching "free" english classes in their church on nights of their own choosing. Just a thought. Ben
Comment: Dave,I enjoyed the message on David's Prayer, but it is duplicated on the next two emails rather than the new message listed being there. Ben

Comment: Pastor Talley: What a blessing to see how God is using you! When I think of you my mind rushes back to the time when you were a redheaded teenager. And a time when our class gathered at the altar to pray for our friend Chris. The years have gone by quickly and you know we are still gathering around the throne of God on behalf of our loved ones. God bless you and your family.
